New Home for Guatemalan Family - Compassion Australia
Story
Hola! My name is Gabriela. When big storms hit my community in Guatemala, my family lost our home and belongings—like clothes and bedding. Right now we’re staying at the child development centre, but soon we will have our very own home again. I can’t wait! Thank you— gracias—for helping us rebuild.
By fundraising for Compassion, you are releasing children from poverty. Through partnership with churches on the ground in more than 27 countries, Compassion gives the world’s poorest children all the love and support they need, plus the physical and practical help they so often lack. We release them from poverty and give them the tools to build a future in which their own children will be free of the desperate life they were born into. Thank you for your support.
We will contribute whatever money is still needed to purchase the home by October 2014 - Dave and Laura.
